JERZY KENAR

Jerzy Kenar was born in Poland. The artist studied Sculpture and Painting at the Fine Arts High School, Wisnicz, and Fine Arts Academy in Gdansk. In the late 70s Kenar immigrated to Sweden and later to the U.S.ultimately settling in Chicago.

Jerzy Kenar is recognized primarily for his large-scale, monochromatic, contemplative and time-defying paintings, sculpture, and interactive paintings with sound. The artist exhibits in public spaces, and private collections around the world.
