Granite boulders, live water

The interactive fountain sculpture is dedicated to Afro-Americans who with determination and perseverance influenced and colored the world landscape.

A mount of black granite boulders represents the individuals-Martin Luther King, Muddy Waters, Maya Angelou, Ella Fitzgerald, Langston Hughes, Harold Washington, Mahommed Ali, Maya Angelou, Jean Baptiste.

The spiring of water from under the boulders signifies genesis of positive changes and overcoming of digressions.

The river of hope carrying positive energy, and power of love to the community, overflows the fountain cylinder.
